A tapestry of collaboration and care supports Kenya’s rangelands

The glaciers of Mount Kenya, the second-highest peak in Africa, are well known, as are its high altitude zones for growing coffee and tea. Fewer people are aware of the importance of the arid and semi-arid rangelands that extend around its base. These dry landscapes are home to farmers and pastoralists who feed and support much of the country.
