Landscape Alliance works closely with national and sub-national partners in government, society and business in countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific to help deliver the kind of lasting change they want.

The organization operates in over 90 countries worldwide, with offices in 25 and Host Country Agreements in 14. Recognizing the importance of context, we seek to harness the biological, social, cultural and economic diversity of the landscapes in which we work to foster innovation, adaptation and resilience.

Our staff have developed a deep understanding of the locations in which they work, with a long-established presence on the ground supported by in-country offices where they are needed most. Whether in forests, agroforests, mangroves or farms, our work is made possible by diverse networks of valued partners – from community producer groups working on sustainable wild meat in the heart of the Congo Basin to some of the world’s largest companies producing chocolate, coffee and cosmetics.

Landscape Alliance is embedded with national governments in a diverse list of countries – from Peru to Côte d’Ivoire to Viet Nam. At the subnational level, we work with numerous local governments – such as in Turkana County in Kenya – and with state and provincial governments such as Odisha, India and South Sumatra, Indonesia.

Together, we are conceiving, developing and delivering the evidence and examples that can scale transformative change.

Landscape Alliance has country offices in the following locations:

AFRICA

The breadth of Landscape Alliance’s work – spanning over 60 countries, with offices in 25 – is matched by its depth. Our staff build and nourish networks of engagement with national and subnational partners across government, civil society and business. This grounds our science in local knowledge and context.
