This side event showcased how Regreening Africa’s large-scale land restoration efforts are strengthening food security, advancing climate adaptation and mitigation, and supporting the implementation of the African Union Climate Strategy as well as the Great Green Wall (GGW) 2030 vision.
The discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration, evidence-based practices, and scaling up restoration to build resilient landscapes and sustainable food systems across the continent.
