Zambia Launches Legal Hub to Boost Wildlife Conservation (54869732803)

On 8 October 2025, the Government of Zambia, through the Ministry of Tourism, launched by Minister of Tourism Rodney Sikumba the Sustainable Wildlife Management (SWM) Programme Legal Hub—an online platform for accessing laws on wildlife, forestry, land, and food safety. Developed by FAO and CIFOR-ICRAF with EU funding, the Hub strengthens evidence-based reforms and community-led conservation. It supports initiatives like the Mize Community Conservancy and will guide future policies for sustainable wildlife and resource management.
