Adaptation to Climate Change), a digital platform developed to support
the monitoring and evaluation of mangrove-based Ecosystem-based
Adaptation (EbA) efforts.
Through a live demonstration, participants explored how artificial intelligence
can help process information more efficiently, identify patterns, and support
the assessment of adaptation actions across diverse landscapes.
Yet one message stood out clearly: technology alone is not enough. The
effectiveness of AI depends on the quality of the data it receives and the
validation provided by local communities, practitioners, and stakeholders on
the ground.
In climate adaptation, the future lies not in choosing between artificial
intelligence and human knowledge, but in bringing the two together.
