How can you future-proof the system to become more resilient in the face of new challenges? First, actions should be based on science. Second, all stakeholders need to come together in early stages, not at the end. Two SAN members — MELCA Ethiopia and @CIFOR-ICRAF — were key players to get a National Agroecology Strategy for Food System Transformation approved in Ethiopia in March 2026.
