The Guide for the Evaluation of Agroecology is a holistic assessment and diagnostic framework developed by the Agroecological Transitions Working Group (Groupe de Travail sur les Transitions Agroécologiques, GTAE), a consortium of four non-governmental organizations: Agrisud International, AVSF, CARI, and GRET. Building on experience gained through the earlier Mémento pour l’évaluation de l’agroécologie (2019), the guide was published in 2023 to support development practitioners, farmers, researchers, and organizations in assessing both the performance of agroecological systems and the conditions that enable their long-term development and sustainability.
